After four years of litigation, eleven sets of timeshare owners were able to present their case to a jury. The court trebled the jury’s damage award and enhanced their counsel’s “prevailing party” fee award by 25% based on the “extreme risk” that the attorneys took in prosecuting the case..
The total award in favor of the timeshare owners was $1,637,584.06 and a release from their oppressive and unlawful timeshare contracts.
